Palma Nova was one of the originally purpose built tourist resorts in the island of Majorca. Majorca is the largest of the Balearic islands, belonging to Spain. Constructed in the sixties, the resort is comprised of three beaches and is nearby the other popular resort, Magaluf. With the vast number of tourists visiting the place, and rapidly increasing development, both resorts have more or less grown together. If you're looking for a Palma Nova holiday, read on.

There are a number of things to do for all types of tourists and although Palma Nova, like its neighbouring resort, is particularly famous amongst the younger crowd for its lively nightlife, there are plenty of family-friendly attractions and things to do as well. Palma Nova truly has something for everyone.

It is very unlikely that you will run out of things to do in Palma Nova. Just a few examples of activities that you can participate in there include a number of water sports such as windsurfing, snorkelling, scuba diving and various day cruises in boats with glass bottoms. Neighbouring Magaluf even offers a couple of water parks including Aqualand which is only about three kilometres away from Palma Nova. You can also take part in certain sports such as tennis, cycling or golf.

Palma Nova is a very busy and popular resort, mostly amongst British tourists. Due to this, there are a great deal of restaurants which cater to all different kinds of tastes.
