A Bunch Of Basic Film Reviews

It wasn't that long ago that a trip to the corner video shop was the most convenient way to get a movie. High speed internet access has now made it possible to download movies right off a movie download site. You can get virtually any movie you want with a good movie download site. Here are some examples.

Rambo: Our hero is back. John Rambo is now in Thailand. He is living in solitude on his boat on a remote river. He is found by Americans that are helping supply food to a refugee camp. The roads are mined, and they need a ride up river to help the refugees. He then learns that the missionaries have been captured by the Burmese army, and need help. He has left the violence min the past, but now he must take action.

Enemy Of The State: A fast paced intrigue that attorney Robert Clayton Dean is unwittingly thrown into the middle of. The government is after him, and they are tracking him with high tech surveillance techniques. He finally gets help from a man named Brill and together they devise a clever plan to untangle Robert from the mess.

Red Tomahawk: Commander Keel spares town from Sioux in regimen Western with numerous likable actors in the cast. Cast includes Howard Keel, Joan Caulfield, Broderick Crawford, Scott Brady, Wendell Corey, Richard Arlen, and Donald Barry. (82 minutes, 1967)

Born American: The Cold War lives on as 3 youthful Americans vacationing in Finland inadvertently cross the boundary into Russia. Once there they battle it out with the local troops. Alright action scenes and personable youthful cast sugarcoat the bulky-handed partisan overtones. Cast includes Mike Norris, Steve Durham, David Coburn, Thalmus Rasulala, and Albert Salmi. (109 minutes, 1986)

The Abominable Dr. Phibes: This is an old cheesy horror flick with horror icon Vincent Price playing the eccentric Dr. Phibes. After losing his wife to an unsuccessful surgery, Dr. Phibes dies in a car wreck. Or does he? Everyone is baffled as the surgeons who fail to save Mrs. Phibes are all dying. Vincent Price, Joseph Cotten, Peter Jeffrey, and Hugh Griffith fill out the cast. (1971 Horror/Comedy)

Barrier: Fascinating view of young demeanors in Poland, combining reportage with fantasy factors. Not a total prosperity, however still intriguing. Cast includes Joanna Szczerbic, Jan Nowicki, Tadeusz Lomnicki, and Maria Malicka. (84 minutes, 1966)

Sex and The City: Made for the big screen rendition of the HBO series with the same name. We continue to watch the ladies deal with work and relationships in New York City. All the same actresses are featured in the movie.

Hangman's Knot: Above-par Scott Western engages rebels pillaging a gold shipment and Officer Scott choosing they should return it. Cast includes Randolph Scott, Donna Reed, Claude Jannan, Richard Denning, and Lee Marvin. (81 minutes, 1952)

Say Amen Somebody: An amazing documentary in regards to gospel music and 2 of its beaming megastars, "Mommy" Willie Mae Ford Smith and "Professor" Thomas Dorsey that brings us into their lives in addition to their careers and illustrates the flow of music sung from the heart. Cast includes Willie Mae Ford Smith, Thomas A. Dorsey, Sallie Martin, The Barrett Siblings, and The O'Neal Brothers. (100 minutes, 1982)
