The Incredibly Amazing Magician

By Miles Sunkest

The other night I was witness to the most impressive demonstration of illusions I've ever seen. My friends and I got some tickets to this magic show. It was through a friend of a friend, or somebody's work or something.

The only other time I'd actually seen a magician that wasn't on TV was at my friends Confirmation party. It was in junior high school, and they had this magician come. He was OK, he did some card tricks, and pulled some coins out of my friend's ears. Nothing out of the ordinary.

But the guy we saw the other night was way different. He didn't just do some basic tricks, he did these things that I didn't even think were possible. I don't even remember this guys name, but he had the whole crowd completely mesmerized during the entire show. The way people were looking at him, I really wanted to learn some magic tricks on my own.

At first, he seemed just like any other club magician. Card tricks, pulling roses out of thing air and then making them burst into flames. General stuff like where you basically use props to do all your magic. Little did I know that he was setting us up.

After he did his "warm up" tricks, he started walking around the crowd. He would walk up to somebody's table, and talk to them. Then he would make point to reach in and either shake their hand, or put his hand their shoulder. Then walked back onto the stage, and started telling us about his childhood. While he was doing that, these people, whom he touched, started walking up to the stage like zombies. Like they were under his complete control.

When they were on stage, he made them all speak in Martian, and told the crowd they were there, and had mistaken this club for the UN. So we had to listen to a group of people give a speech, in Martian, to the United Nations. It was the strangest thing I'd ever seen. If you haven't seen a magic show recently, you should check one . I think magic may have changed from what you may remember.
